B. T. Karuma is excited by moving stories and smart plots set in fantastical worlds. After reading many books and watching too many movies, he decided to write stories of his own. He has written and published 11 fiction and nonfiction books, taken part in creative writing collaborations, and set up author and business blogs. Through his novels and short stories, he has explored mostly speculative fiction. As his writing has evolved, he has developed a passion for telling stories centred on African myths, cultures, and settings.
Before exploring writing, he worked in engineering. He has a first class bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, certificates in control & instrumentation and electrical engineering, and he worked in the electrical power generation and distribution industry for 5 years. Even now, he works on completing his master’s in electrical engineering.
His obsession with stories drove him to write his first novel, and he hasn’t stopped writing since. For book updates, you can follow his Facebook page.
